The biggest teeny pop groups in Asia.... Korean boy band Shinee Lucifer and girl band SNSD! Personally, I find it interesting to see the chief influences of teen mass culture in Asia. From the manga styling of Shinee Lucifer to the cutesy looks of SNSD, you can see their young followers all across Asia. Not quite Lady Gaga but translated to Asia, the influence is equally immense and widespread. Note the differences between western and eastern boy/girl band styling... not quite the sexy, hot girls aloud or lady gaga. Guys with attitude in dangerously dark colors while the girls are in candy floss colors!

As street art is bubbling across Asia, I recently went to an arts program called CLAP to liven up Singapore's business district. Amongst various talented performers, a drums band called Voodoo stole the entire show away. 10 guys, 10 kinds of drums. It was absolutely inspiring and mind blowingly good. Check them out!
